From June 19th: Every night before bed Gibson says this to me. ' Good night. I love you ice cream'. (Todd likes to think he means 'I love you more than ice cream', personally I am not so sure- he's a weird little kid) This evening he took it further and said, ' I love you meatball. I'm gunna eat you in half. I put a nice sauce on you '.
It's little things like this that make my heart go pitter-pat and somehow miss it while it's happening because I know he's not going to say things like this forever. Every day he's becoming more like a big boy and losing the little boy-ness. Like how he used to say bell-but instead of belly button. I'm proud of the boy he's becoming, but I miss that little baby he was.

almost 3
I can hardly believe that next Saturday my little baby turns 3! That means it's time to repost his birthday wishlist for the family. It's over here on amazon.com Gibson's birthday Wishlist!
He has almost everything a kid could want already, but he still loves to get stuff (just like everyone else). He's currently wearing clothes in 3T or 4T. He's not growing quite as fast and he's really thinned out since he's constantly on the go. I hope we'll see you soon so we can have a cupcake to celebrate my little boy.

Watermelon
We stopped into the supermarket this afternoon after mommy & me singalong lunch and while my back was turned picking out strawberries Gibson was busy picking this out. I turned around just in time to see him putting this watermelon into the bottom of our stroller.
You can see how excited he is by it.

Natureboy & Ladybug
I snapped this just as the ladybug was getting ready to fly away. He was telling me about how happy the ladybug was and how much it liked him.
